  1. You’re supposed to divulge intriguing and prurient personal information here or, at the very least, write complete lies and crap to throw us off the scent. Get crackin’.

    Hi Jim,
Thanks for writing to me. I tried emailing you back and it keeps getting bounced back to me. So I figured I’d leave you my message in your comments πŸ™‚

I always love to look through articles to see who has an article tagged for Trader Joe’s. Sorry about the layout of the site, I’m behind the scenes trying to do a few upgrades and that’s one of the things that has been bugging me lately. The search area is at the bottom of the page. So here is the closest page I have that is searchable and is my (in need of updating) list of TJ reviews:

I did review that product and the review is here:

Unfortunately, between November and January are when there are the most get togethers, and that is when there is the greatest change in the frozen appetizers at TJs. I’m sure the answer is as simple as supply and demand (holidays- Thanksgiving-New Years). Where the rest of the year the appetizers that are left can marginally pass as a meal as well. Although, I’m sure that might not be the answer a corporation might give you.

If there is anything new that you would like me to review, I’m always open to suggestions.

Keep up the great work on your blog!!

      Hi Brenda,

That’s really an extensive and insightful review of the product, complete with very good photos that tell exactly what you get. As to why TJs only offers this during the holidays, I’m sure they must know when products sell and don’t, as you suggest. But since they seem to have some frozen appetizers all year long I do wonder if they’ve actually tried offering the bacon/scallops.

And although your review mentions how easy it is, I find myself totally unable to wrap bacon around anything unless I stick about 20 toothpicks in the item…which, I admit gives it an unresistably zesty toothpicky flavor.

Your blog layout overall is…magnifique. I just had trouble finding the specific product.
